This notice describes the information used by herwanng.com, Herwan Ng’s personal website.

Messages and ebook requests

When you submit the contact form, you provide your name, email address, enquiry topic, message and, for ebook requests, your book selection. These details are used to review and respond to your request. An ebook request is not a newsletter subscription. Please do not include sensitive or confidential business information.

Hosting and form processing

Netlify hosts this website and processes form submissions. Hosting services may also process technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to operate and secure the site. Netlify may provide site-performance measurements. Its handling of information is described in the Netlify privacy policy.

Visitor analytics

The main website and thank-you page use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and use of the site. Analytics can use cookies and technical information about your browser, device, pages visited and referral source. This site also records clicks on selected articles and successful contact-form submissions as analytics events.

The site’s custom analytics events do not include the name, email address or message entered into the form. Google Signals and advertising personalisation signals are disabled in the site configuration. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles information.

Your choices

You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from reading this website or requesting an ebook.

Links to other websites

Links to LinkedIn and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. A LinkedIn account may be needed to view some content.

Questions about your information

To ask about information you submitted, or request its correction or deletion, use the contact form or contact me on LinkedIn. Include enough context to identify your enquiry, but do not send identity documents or passwords.
